This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
